Where Have We Been?

I wish I could tell you that we have been off exploring the world or mastering the art of making the perfect cup of Chai in someone’s basement, but the truth isn’t that simple. This is where I like to share what is happening in the world of firearms with you. But as of late I haven’t been updating the YouTube channel or posting anything here and for that, I am sorry. This is hard for me to type and I will be posting a video about this on Tuesday August 1st 2017. For now, I wanted to share with you, here first, so you had a chance to let this sink in. I, Atticus James, am moving to a better place. Some might say, I am buying the farm. This means that the GEARS crew will have to change how work is done. I BOUGHT A RANCH!! I AM … What you’re missing….

Video: CMMG .22LR Conversion Kit Meltdown?!

Something I enjoy so much about running Gears of Guns is the chances we get to find a products limits and melting point. Sometimes it is just nice to be able to sit back and watch someone else do it too. If you liked the IV8888 Video you can check out our review of the CMMG .22LR Conversion we did last year.

Video: My Love of Lever Guns

Hickok45 today posted a second chapter of his Winchester Model 92 lever gun. This brings up the FEELS for me because of my love of lever action guns. If you have never had the opportunity to fire one they are well worth pulling the trigger on. Even with my love of technology and new guns and ARs and all the cool extras you can do to them, there is just something deeply satisfying about running a .45-70 or .357 or .30-30 in a lever action. Rant over. You can see our review of the Henry .357 Big Boy Steel below.

Video: A California Legal AR-15 Speedloader

Sadly one of the GEARS Crew lives in California and is subjected to these pointless laws. Mean Arms has found a new solution to replace the bullet button. I haven’t had a chance to see them, as I was not at the NRAAM this year. I wouldn’t be opposed to testing one out in the future. That is enough talking, lets jump into the video.   They are making this for .308 ARs and RR has this in .50BMG Save
