The frame is made from an aluminum alloy with the other parts made from steel.
The trigger is double-action with an exposed hammer and a frame-mounted ambidextrous safety that allows the shooter to carry “cocked and locked”.
(Cocked and locked: The pistol has a round in the chamber and the hammer cocked back and ready to fire with the safety on.)
